Marie Clarke.

It is with great sadness and regret that we inform you of the death of  Wally Clarke’s wife Marie, who passed away peacefully yesterday in hospital.

Our sincere sympathies to Wally and his family, who are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

May she rest in peace.

Irish Senior Cup Qualifiers

Due to the number of entrants for this seasons Irish Senior Cup, a qualification round will have to take place.

The draw for the ISC qualifiers was done after the U19 Cup final in limerick.

The groups are as follows:

(A)
Sandycove
Guinness
Clonard

(B)
Setanta
Corrib

The format shall be, from group (A) the top 2 teams will automatically qualify and from group (B) the winner of the group will qualify automatically. Then, for the remaining place, last place in group (A) will play-off against the runner – up of group (B).

U19 All Ireland Championship

St Vincents beat Glenalbyn 11 – 7 to claim the girls U19 All Ireland Championship in Limerick, while Clonard beat St Vincents 8 – 3 to claim the boys U19 All Ireland Championship.

MVP for the girls went to Mairead Baker of St Vincents who was also the girls tournament top goal scorer!

MVP for the boys went to Conor Johnston of Clonard and he too was also the boys tournament top goal scorer!

Congratulations to St Vincents girls and Clonard and well done to everyone involved.

In addition, the Swimming Club invites alumni and current members for a programme of (optional) swimming and water polo matches commencing at 1pm.
