U16 All Ireland Championship

Congratulations to Tribes (A) who, yesterday won their first U16 All Ireland Championship in Lisburn with a win over Drogheda, who also achieved a great milestone in playing in their first ever championship final.

Aoibhinn Cunningham – Smyth from Tribes was awarded the MVP for the girls tournament.

In the boys tournament Corrib (A) overcame a strong St Vincents side in the last minute of the game to clinch another championship title. The boys final produced the best game of the tournament with an exciting end to end battle throughout the whole game.

Tiarnan Colin from St Vincents was awarded the MVP for the boys tournament.
