4 Nations Water Polo

National Aquatic Centre, Dublin

September 13^th + 14^th 2014 

Ireland Water Polo will host the 4 Nations tournament this September, at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin. Teams from Denmark, Scotland and Wales will compete against the host nation.

Both men’s and women’s teams will represent their countries over the 2 days.

After recent success in Switzerland with the Junior ladies, the senior ladies hope to keep that momentum going and the men’s team are eager to continue their international success, upon finishing third in this years 8 nations.

Please come along and support the men and women in Dublin.

EU 8 Nations Tournament + Schedule

Ireland will be hosting the 2014 EU 8 Nations Men’s Water Polo Tournament at UL Sport this weekend!!!

Teams from Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Scotland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Wales and Malta will descend on Limerick from 14th – 16th March playing 20 games over the three days.

Ireland Mens 8 Nations Preparations

8 Nations training Camp

As part of their final preparations for the forthcoming 8 nations tournament in Limerick ( 14^th to 16^th March) .The Irish Senior Men’s Waterpolo squad are heading to Szeged in Hungary from the 7^th to 10^th March for a three day training camp . A total of 18 players will be travelling and over the course of the camp they will play 3 games, against 2 local teams and a team from Romania. The trip will allow the squad to sharpen their team skills and allow the players from 7 different club teams to get used to playing together.

The team of 15 will be selected for Limerick after the trip to Szeged in Hungary.

Mini Polo Event

 

Congratulations to Clonard who won the mini  polo event in Belfast today.

Mini Polo is really taking off at the moment and these events are a great opportunity to get involved.
